नगर निगम कर्मचारी संयुक्त मोर्चा ने विभिन्न मांगों को लेकर शनिवार को नगर निगम कार्यालय से शिवमूर्ति तक रैली निकाली। कर्मचारियों का आरोप है कि नगर निगम लंबे समय में सफाई कर्मचारियों की मांगों को अनदेखा कर रहा है। जिस कारण सफाई कर्मचारियों को भारी दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। साथ ही 46 सफाई कर्मचारियों की बहाली नहीं करने के कारण उनके सामने रोजी रोटी का संकट गहरा गया है।
नगर निगम के सभी सफाई कर्मचारी शनिवार को नगर निगम संयुक्त मोर्चा के बैनर तले नगर निगम कार्यालय में एकत्रित हुए। कर्मचारियों ने नगर निगम प्रशासन के खिलाफ अपनी मांगों को लेकर नारेबाजी की। इसके बाद कर्मचारी पैदल रैली निकालते हुए शिवमूर्ति चैक तक गए। कर्मचारियों का आरोप है कि नगर निगम बोर्ड बैठक में प्रस्ताव पास होने और शहरी विकास मंत्री द्वारा लिखित में देने के बाद भी नगर निगम में वर्ष 2012 में निकाले गए 46 सफाई कर्मचारियों की बहाली नहीं की जा रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि बहाली के नाम में कर्मचारियों को बार बार गुमराह करते हुए देहरादून और हरिद्वार में अधिकारियों को दफ्तरों के चक्कर कटवाए जा रहे हैं। वहीं सफाई कर्मचारियों का धरना सातवें दिन भी जारी रहा।
